Psychologist

My name is Emma Coffey and I am one of the School Psychologists on staff at Springhill. I am on site Monday-Wednesday each week. I am looking forward to the new school year with everyone on campus, learning together. I get the pleasure of working with every grade, and with so many families at Springhill. I look forward to meeting all the new faces this year! When I am away from school I love to spend time outdoors with my dog, Tucker, and my family and friends. I also love making new recipes in the kitchen, playing word puzzles, and playing and watching sports.

Psychologist

Hello, I am Jenna Krook and I am one of the School Psychologists working at Springhill.

I am starting my tenth year in Lafayette School District. I have been working in the field of School Psychology and private practice for over thirty years. It is an honor to work with the extraordinary staff at Springhill, incredible students and dedicated parents in this community. I have two children. My son lives in San Diego and my daughter is in her senior year at Oregon State. We love visiting our children. I enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, walking our 15 year old retriever and spending time with family and friends.

My name is Melinda Weilage and I am one of the Occupational Therapists on staff. I am a southern California native and Cal graduate (Go Bears!). I received my Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2019, and have been practicing in a variety of pediatric settingsto support children and families in reaching their fullest potential. As a former paraeducator for LAFSD, I am honored and excited to join the team again in my new role as OT. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, picnics at Lake Merritt, cooking, and thrifting.

Speech and Language Therapist

Hi, my name is Erika, and I am thrilled to be joining Springfield Elementary as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for my first year here. Originally from the East Coast, I moved to California about seven years ago and have loved exploring life on the West Coast ever since. I earned my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I love traveling, tending to my deck garden, cooking, walking my sweet dog Lucy, and spending quality time with my adult children.

Behaviorist

My name is Tonya Amani, and I am one of the district’s Behavior Analysts. I support Springhill and Stanley. I am from Arkansas, but have lived in California since 2006. I have been a BCBA for 12 years, working in three different school districts. This is my 3rd year working for LAFSD. I have worked with children in various capacities since I was 15. I have a husband, two sons (7 and 9), who keep me busy by coaching baseball and cheering them on in various sports, and a dog named Blue. We love to travel, ski, and try out new foods and restaurants.
