Meet the Springhill Support Staff

My name is Emma Coffey and I am one of the School Psychologists on staff at Springhill. I am on site Monday-Wednesday each week. I am looking forward to the new school year with everyone on campus, learning together. I get the pleasure of working with every grade, and with so many families at Springhill. I look forward to meeting all the new faces this year! When I am away from school I love to spend time outdoors with my dog, Tucker, and my family and friends. I also love making new recipes in the kitchen, playing word puzzles, and playing and watching sports.

I am starting my tenth year in Lafayette School District. I have been working in the field of School Psychology and private practice for over thirty years. It is an honor to work with the extraordinary staff at Springhill, incredible students and dedicated parents in this community. I have two children. My son lives in San Diego and my daughter is in her senior year at Oregon State. We love visiting our children. I enjoy hiking, biking, gardening, walking our 15 year old retriever and spending time with family and friends. 

Staff PhotoHi, my name is Sebastian Torres. I am a School Psychologist Intern who is working on completing an education specialist degree at Saint Mary’s in Moraga. Go Gaels! I also received my undergrad in psychology from Cal State East Bay. I feel immensely grateful to get to work with the students, families, and educators here in Lafayette. In my spare time I enjoy watching sports, gardening, traveling, and playing video games.

I am excited to join the Springhill team as a new speech language pathologist. I am a Bay Area native and have an undergraduate degree in psychology and music from Willamette University and recieved my Master's degree in Communication Disorders from San Francisco State University. For fun I love to travel, work in my garden and cook yummy meals for my friends and family.
Staff PhotoHello! My name is Alison and I am very eager to be returning to Springhill Elementary full-time. I was lucky enough to complete one of my internships here at Springhill with a previous speech therapist last fall. I am a recent graduate from Cal State East Bay with my master's in speech-language pathology. In the past, I have worked as a speech-language pathology assistant in the private practice setting with early intervention (0-3 yrs) and elementary school-aged children for 3 years. In my free time, I like to listen to music, read, work out, and travel. I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this team and work with all the wonderful kiddos at Springhill
Staff PhotoHello! My name is Chiana (She-on-ah) Hosseini and I am the occupational therapist at Springhill. I am a Bay Area native and received my Masters in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. I am continuing to grow my expertise to support all students. This includes additional training in understanding and supporting students with ADHD, Innate Rhythmic Reflexes and Primitive Reflexes, and Dysgraphia training. I am so happy to be a part of the exemplary team here. When I am away from school I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, going on big and small adventures, and spending time tinkering in the garden.
