Welcome back Springhill Families and a shout out to all the new Families in our community.  My name is Meghann McNaught and this is my 16th year teaching Kindergarten at Springhill.  I am very grateful to be back in person with the students and look forward to the school year ahead.  When I am not  teaching, I love to spend my time traveling the world with my Husband.  Wishing everyone a healthy and happy school year!
Staff PhotoHi, my name is Katherine Welcomer, and I am a kindergarten teacher at Springhill school. This is my 14th year teaching kindergarten. I am happily married and have three amazing children and two lively pups. I live right around the corner from our school and all three of my children attended Springhill. Some of my hobbies include sewing, quilting, hiking and art. Kindergarten is the foundation for all future learning. This crucial year is important because it gives children time and practice to explore social interactions with peers and opportunities to work on tools for emotional health and wellbeing. Kindergarten is a year to build upon a learner's confidence.Kindergarten is a joyous, happy place where children learn about themselves and the world around them. They discover that through play, exploration and hard work they can be successful. What an incredible year we will have together!

Mrs. K

Welcome! My name is Brittney Kornow (pronounced “corn – now”) and I teach TK. Most of the kids call me Mrs. K. Outside of teaching, I love to travel! I have been to 23 countries and all over the United States! I also like to read, play with my kiddos, and go to the beach. I grew up in Southern California and have moved around as an adult living in San Luis Obispo, Austin (TX), Oakland, and San Francisco. I now live in Pleasant Hill with my husband, son, daughter, and dogs. I have taught second grade, first grade, and now TK! This will be my 12th year teaching! I also have a Masters in Education with a concentration in literacy as well as a reading specialist credential. I am very excited to continue to be a part of the Springhill community and look forward to getting to know our youngest Springhill students and their families this school year!
